Triceps
Now the triceps, triceps.
-“Don’t give me your arm.”

If I hit here in the muscle belly, that’s the so-called myotatic reflex. I don’t want that, I want a deep tendon reflex. So I want to hit it right there, where the tendon is. If I hit on the bone, that’s not going to get a reflex, so, right there. Okay? And see how nice that is.
Now, one other thing is reflex hammers, you can see already, that the concept is to have nice torque and equal amount of pressure in each one. Using very light reflex hammers can be problematic. It’s better to have a little bit of a heavier head or a longer arm, such as in a Queen's Square hammer to test properly. This is a Babinski hammer. It’s got a little more weight to it.
