Deltoids, deltoids are the arm abductors, and you test on the meat of the arms, here. If you test too far out laterally, you could break almost everybody. But if you get in to medially, you can break hardly anybody. So, right on the meat of the arm, on the forearm. Right here.

Normal strength in deltoids. The deltoids, like the trapezii, should be tested both sides at the same time, so you don’t tip the patient over. Now, almost every other muscle here we’re going to test individually, one side and then the other, and it is actually best not to test the rest of the muscles at the same time.
