This patient has expressive aphasia with nonfluent speech, difficulty naming objects, and normal comprehension. She does not have confusion - she is just unable to express herself in spoken or written language. Expressive aphasias most often occur due to lesions in the anterior aspect of the left hemisphere, such as Broca's area in the frontal lobe.
