Following his stress test, our patient stated that he really knew he had a problem all along. He said he had been denying his symptoms, but was really worried. He said he was also worried about his heart "racing and jumping" over the last month. These episodes occurred up to several times per day, lasted several minutes and were sometimes associated with a feeling of mild lightheadedness. A 24 hour holter monitor was obtained to evaluate these episodes.
