The characteristic features of early repolarization shown here demonstrate J point elevation that is followed by an elevated ST segment that is concave. These changes are well seen in leads V4 through V6. The ST changes of early repolarization typically normalize with exercise.

Early repolarization is a normal variant seen in many young and healthy individuals, and is especially common in young males.
