Your choice: Oral diuretic therapy
Oral diuretic therapy is an adjuvant treatment and is effective in reducing preload in symptomatic patients with right heart failure, particularly when ascites or peripheral edema is present. It does not prolong survival and, therefore, it is not the optimal treatment for our patient.
