W.H.O. Classification of Pulmonary Hypertension
The World Health Organization (W.H.O.) Classification of Pulmonary Hypertension includes: Group I - pulmonary arterial hypertension; Group II - left heart disease; Group III - lung diseases and/or hypoxia; Group IV - chronic thromboembolic disease; and Group V - other miscellaneous causes.

Group I - Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Classification
Group I - pulmonary arterial classification includes: idiopathic, heritable, drug- and toxic-induced, connective tissue disease, HIV, portal hypertension and congenital left-to-right shunts.
