Your choice: Septal thinning procedures
Septal thinning procedures are indicated in patients who are unresponsive to medical therapy and have evidence of subaortic obstruction and mitral regurgitation. Septal thinning may be performed through surgery or through injection of alcohol via the septal branches of the left anterior descending coronary artery.
